For crew members desiring to fashion foul weather gear, I have scheduled a make and mend for March 28 at Brambleigh Cottage. You'll need to bring at least 3 yards of pre-washed canvas and appropriate sewing notions. We will discuss potential options for furnishing the edges of the completed garment. Please RSVP through normal channels.
We will be using a simple pattern based on Peter Fidler's draft from the 1790s (see image below).
